cost of a concrete shed base

What's a reasonable quote for laying a concrete shed base? and then used a local mini mixer company to come along and simply pour the concrete in. cost about £250 iirc and that was for solid. The one big disadvantage to doing a concrete shed foundation would be cost. unless you are willing to put out some big bucks depending on the size of your shed, a concrete floor could be well over half the cost of your total shed construction cost.. A concrete base will be much more sturdy than laying slabs but will incur some extra material and labour costs. don’t forget that this is a large shed so it will take some time and to clear the ground and requires at least a tonne of sand/cement/ballast to form the base..
